If you want to be unique, you may want to choose some of the more obscure couple costumes. Accessories can really help to make the outfit. For example, the Morticia Addams costume wouldn’t be complete without a long black wig. Likewise, Gomez absolutely must be holding a large cigar in his hand. The prison guard should have hand cuffs while the cheerleaders will need pom poms and a megaphone.
You can take the time to make your own costumes. However, this could cost a lot of money and take a significant amount of time. This is especially true if you do not know how to sew.
